Before starting, have ready 2 or 4 new AAA type batteries
(depending on the inverter size).
1. Refer to photo on right.
To install batteries, open the inverter case by inserting 3 fingernails between the two halves at the bottom of the inverter case and then pry open the cover.
(This is really easy once you get used to it.)
2. Insert AAA batteries carefully.
Close the inverter and attach the connection wire to the panel.
3. Turn on the switch and make sure that the red LED in the inverter is lit and the EL panel animates. If the LED doesn't light up, open the inverter case and check if the batteries are inserted correctly.
Move the batteries and check if the LED lights up. If the LED lights up, but the animation still doesn't activate, check the cable connection. Make sure the connector is inserted securely.
4. By pressing the pattern switch you can choose your favourite animation pattern。To change the pattern movement press the pattern switch until you reach your desired sequencing selection.
5. The EL activated T-shirt can now be worn.
Place inverter in the special pocket on the T-shirt or clip it onto a belt.
6. The EL panel is waterproof and the T-shirt can be hand-washed. Note: The inverter is NOT waterproof. Make sure that the inverter is removed from the T-shirt before washing. Do not wear T-shirts when wet or drenched with perspiration.
