Here's some information on our Custom Pattern Sheet panels. Our Custom Pattern Sheet panels are designed to be cut into smaller pieces. You can cut the panel into any shapes as far as you leave a couple of terminals. As you can see, there are 2 kinds of terminals along the edges of the sheet. One terminal is connected to the back of the sheet(black coating) and another is connected to the front of the sheet. You only have to connect the 2 terminals to an inverter to illuminate. After you cut the panel, make sure you clean the edges because the black conductive material might touch the front panel to short circuit. Please handle the panel carefully because you can easily electrocuted. A Custom Pattern Sheet panel is designed to be cut into smaller pieces and if you want to illuminate the big panel(usually more than A5), you need to reinforce the terminal electrically. You can use regular copper wires to reinforce the terminal. Just spread the fine copper wire on the black back side panel as shown below. You can always use copper wire method even the panel is smaller. The copper wire doesn't even have to touch the terminal. You only need to reinforce the back side.
