Color electroluminescent lighting is particularly useful for advertising and anything that needs to attract attention, such as safety signs. Though eye-catching, EL lighting generates very comfortable light that's easy on the eyes.

Most EL lamps can be used as regular signs in sunlight, but as the surroundings get darker, the EL panel stands out even more.
EL lamps can be framed, but the sheet itself is very thin and flexible so you can hang it anywhere, even on curved surfaces.

The most widely used EL lamp is for signs, such as emergency exits. The battery-operated EL lamp uses far less power and lasts much longer than conventional lighting, meaning lower energy costs. Average power consumption for a fluorescent system is 16w. However, an EL lamp requires only 2~4w. EL lamps last years with little or no maintenance. Imagine how much you can save in a big building where you need hundreds of such signs.

The power supply for many drivers requires 12VDC input, so when used in a car, you don't need an adapter. Many attractive accessories can be created for vehicles, either for private or public use.

The buttons can be attached to garments, bags, hats--anything you
can think of.
